ICBC Glass Express Claims
If you need to make an ICBC glass claim for windshield or other auto glass replacement, come to Broco Auto Glass -- the first auto glass shop certified by the ICBC Glass Express Program.
If you qualify, we can save you the time and trouble of dealing with ICBC for your glass claim.
"Recently my vehicle was broken into. The young lady at your front desk was exceptionally pleasant and efficient. I was absolutely stunned when I learned ICBC had missed that my car also required a window frame.
Your employee took my car back to ICBC and showed the estimator the extra damage. This saved me considerable time. As I took the day off work to have this repair completed, I am very appreciative of the extra service your employee supplied."

What is the Glass Express Program?
The Glass Express Program was started by ICBC in 2002 to enable ICBC customers to have their glass and windshield claims taken care of without any need to contact ICBC directly.
As the first certified Glass Express shop, we strive to lead the industry in maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service for you and all of our customers.
Do I Qualify to Make an ICBC Glass Express Claim?
If only one piece of glass is damaged in your vehicle (windshield or single window) and you have ICBC Comprehensive coverage, we can take care of your glass claim.
Simply bring your vehicle to a Broco location near you or book an appointment today!
Comprehensive Insurance covers damage caused by:
- Flying rocks or road debris striking and breaking your vehicle's windshield
- Break-ins
- Vandalism
When your vehicle's glass needs to be replaced, you will be required to pay your insurance deductible. This amount varies depending on your coverage. For windshield damage claims due to flying objects such as flying rocks or gravel, the minimum deductible is $200 (when the minimum Comprehensive deductible is purchased).
Beware of any company that offers to waive the deductible for your repair. This is in violation of ICBC's agreement with auto glass shops.
NOTE: We can handle most windshield and glass claims. If you meet any of the following conditions, your claim DOES NOT QUALIFY for Glass Express:
- There's no Glass Express shop in your area
- You have a Temporary Operation Permit
- You have a Vehicle in Storage policy
- There is damage to:
- Headlights
- Taillights
- Mirrors
- Sunroof or T-bar
- More than one piece of glass
- Your vehicle is more than 20 years old
If you meet any of the above conditions, you will need to contact ICBC to file a claim before you bring us your vehicle.
Feel free to contact us first if you have any questions.
Otherwise, book an appointment for service, or bring your vehicle to a Broco location near you.
