THIS CONTRACT ENTITLES THE NAMED HOLDER TO REPLACEMENT OF ACCIDENTAL BREAKAGE OF EXTERIOR WINDOWS & DOOR GLASS FOR THE PERIOD STATED.
BROCO WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MATCHING AN OBSOLETE GLASS
OR GLASS NOT AVAILABLE FROM OUR SUPPLIERS.
EXCLUSIONS:
LEADED WINDOWS
• A leaded window that is stained or clear glass done in leaded surroundings.
DECORATIVE OR DESIGNER GLASS
• Any glass having a special shape, or customized work, i.e. bronze/gold muntin bars, sand blasted, etched art work, bent/curved or acrylic.
WINDOWS THAT HAVE BEEN ALTERED
• Such as painting with permanent paint, homemade or custom design windows.
FAILED SEALED UNITS
• A sealed unit where the seal on the unit separates; fills with moisture/condensation,
causing glass stains.
WINDOW/DOOR FRAMES AND HARDWARE
• i.e. stops, rollers, glazing beads, vinyl beads, damaged frames, or bent moldings.
BREAKAGE DUE TO BUILDING SETTLEMENT
• Construction of a building that has/is settling causing pressure on the frame or glass.
WILLFUL DAMAGE
• A customer breaks his or her own window by force of entry or purposely throws an object through the glass.
BREAKAGE CAUSED BY NATURAL/MANMADE DISASTERS, ACTS OF GOD, ACTS OF WAR, RIOTS OR
UNLAWFUL ASSEMBLY
REPLACEMENT OF ALARM TAPE OR FILMS (TINTED/REFLECTIVE/SECURITY/ADVERTISING DECALS)
SPECIALTY GLASS IS DEFINED AS: COLOURED GLASS (BLUE, GREEN, GREY, BRONZE),
TEMPERED SEALED UNITS, FIRE RATED GEORGIA WIRED GLASS(G.P.W.)
ALL CLAIMS MUST BE REPORTED TO BROCO GLASS FOR REPLACEMENT.
NO CLAIMS WILL BE HONOURED IF NOT PRE-AUTHORIZED BY BROCO.
BROCO GLASS RESERVES THE RIGHT OF REFUSAL IF A CLAIM IS FRAUDULENT.
